Courage isn’t the absence of fear but moving ahead in spite of the fear. Esther courageously approached the king to invite him and Haman to a series of strategically planned banquets. Haman’s pride continued to grow along with his hatred of Mordecai, so he built a gallows to hang him. Something would have to give. Will it be Haman’s pride or Esther’s courage?
