This is a question that everyone will ask themselves, yet not everyone will find a sufficient answer.
It may not be a question that someone asks on a regular basis, but if a sure answer is not known or found, it opens one up to manipulation, hijack and crisis. Our culture knows a lot about identity crises; we see it lived out all around us . The question is not, “Who are they?” but “Who am I?”
The book of Ephesians, in our passage, sets out to show us who we are and what our identity is in Jesus Christ. It is only from this place of a firm identity that we can live life in the way it was designed, with security and freedom. Let us learn together, today, from this awesome passage.
