Morning Verses With Mike
I'm doing daily Bible verse readings to share, grow, and impact others for good!

Ephesians 6:16
"In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil."

I talked the other day about Ephesians and how it is it the big picture. The overlook.

My wife sent me a piece yesterday, and it was great. Dealing with and talking about, fear. I thought this would be appropriate. Ephesians 6 is talking about the relationships between people and the entire armor of God. God is our protector. This verse specifically refers to our shield of faith. We hold onto it against all of the negative and crummy things that come our way.

We hold onto our shield against the missiles of fear that are thrown at us. Fear of rejection, fear that we are not enough, fear of the unknown. We begin to allow the fear, of the fear of what may overtake us and destroy our day fear. This leads to anxiety, and anxiety leads a path right back to fear again. Sometimes this will happen in just a moment. But don't allow that one moment to take on your whole day!

By keeping true, and keeping the faith, fear is ALWAYS only temporary. Stay turned into the light. Faith crushes fear.
