Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Eric worked as an assistant pastor at Calvary Tucson for 10 years before God called him and his family to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida to plant a church known as Reach Jacksonville. When the church first began, it met in the living room of Ruthie McNicholas, a devout catholic who's sister attended Eric's previous church in Tucson. After a few months of listening to Eric's teaching of God's Word, Ruthie gave her life fully over to God and was baptized at Reach's first baptism. The church began to grow and moved to meet at Cunningham Creek Elementary for a while before settling in its current location. Reach has remained devoted to the teaching of God's Word, the community of believers for the last 10 years and will continue to do so until the Lord returns.
