In this baptismal service, Dr. Zampogna preaches from Luke 13:22-25, entitled “Examine Yourself.” He states the question is asked: “LORD, are there few that be saved?” In our time, I think most every person just assumes they’re good enough for God to accept. Few, very few take the time to consider that finding salvation requires more concentrated effort than most people are willing to put forth. Now, obviously, we cannot save ourselves. There is no way we can work ourselves into God’s favor. But Jesus tells us we are to enter in at the strait gate. What does Jesus mean? What is the effort or the work we must do?
