Many mistake self-belittling for humility. Statements like “I’m not smart,” “I’m not gifted,” or “I have nothing to offer” may sound modest, but they deny the craftsmanship of the One who made each person. God does not create by accident, and He does not design with flaws in His plan.

Degrading your abilities implies the Creator failed in His work. True humility isn’t denying the gifts He has given — it’s recognizing they are from Him and using them to serve others. The body of Christ flourishes when each member embraces their God-given design.
