In Exodus 34, Moses returns to the mountain for 40 days and nights (this time without food or water) fully dependent on the presence of God. Through preparation, purpose, and intimacy with the Lord, Moses is refreshed and transformed in God’s presence. This lesson explores how fasting quiets the flesh, sharpens the spirit, and causes God’s light to be reflected through our lives.
