don’t think it strange concerning the fiery trials, as though some strange thing happened to you, rejoice that you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad with exceeding joy. you are blessed if you’re reproached for the name of Christ, the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you, he is evil spoken of, on your part he is glorified, let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters, if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, let him glorify God on this behalf,
