Part II of Fighting Temptation illustrates how the devil uses temptation to try to destroy the fellowship between God and Christians. He tries to do this in three ways: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. The devil uses the pride of life to tempt us to doubt God’s goodness and to pridefully seek to provide for our flesh outside of God’s will. The key to overcoming temptation is to be led by the spirit of God and to obey and yield to the word of God.
