Many think following Christ is just about avoiding sin, but Jesus didn’t simply say, “Don’t do what I don’t do.” He said, “Follow Me.” That means living as He lived, pursuing what He pursued, and obeying without delay. Procrastination is not obedience—neglect is a form of rebellion. Some claim ignorance, but there is a proud ignorance that refuses to seek truth, treating the Lord’s commands as optional. If we truly love Christ, we will keep His commandments—both in the big things and the small. Will we follow Him with wholehearted, prompt obedience?
