Luke 9:27-36, mount of transfiguration, Jesus, Peter, James, John, Moses, Elijah; Exodus 33:18-23; 1 Kings 19:9-18. Moses represents Old Testament saints. Elijah represents the church which will be raptured before the Great Tribulation. From the mount of transfiguration, we see at least three wondrous things: 1) seeing the kingdom of God, 2) not understanding what's happening, 3) focusing on the Son. "This is my beloved Son: hear him."
