Lot and his family were brought out of Sodom with the instruction "Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley." Lot's wife did look back. Jesus used Lot's wife as an example in Luke 17:20-33 when he said "Remember Lot's wife. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it." What was it that Lot's wife did that would result in her becoming a pillar of salt? Why should we remember her? Why is this relevant to us today?
