Given a Revelation!
Genesis 45:1-8
Joseph was now about to reveal himself to the brothers and soon to Pharaoh and to all the people of Egypt (Gen 45:1). Joseph explains that everything that was happened with him was a part of God’s bigger plan to preserve a remnant (Gen 45:5-7) of the covenant promise that was given to Abraham. God’s goal was to “save” and give forth a “great deliverance” (Gen 45:7). Joseph reveals to his brother that God has made him lord and ruler of all Egypt for a purpose (Gen 45:8). Disciple Principle: God loves us and Christ through the Holy Spirit, desires to reveal Himself to us so that we can enter into His plan of “salvation” and to experience firsthand a “great deliverance” in our live. Remember: Christ has come to save us and to set us free from all the bondages and plagues of this world, because His focus is to prepare us for His heavenly kingdom. (Luke 2:30, 3:6; Matt 6:13; John 8:31-33; Rom 11:26).
