Giving Forgiveness!
Genesis 50:15-21
After the death of Jacob, the big question that came to the surface very quickly was, will Joseph fulfill his fathers command and forgive his brothers of their trespasses, sins and evil (15-Gen.50.17" class="scriptRef">Gen 50:15-17). Joseph response was, to point his brothers back to the purposes and will of God (Gen 50:19). Joseph knew that God had been with him and was working through him to save and give physical life to the people with food (Gen 50:20). But there is another important thing he tells them, that they are not to be afraid, for he would continue to provide, comfort, and show kindness to them (Gen 50:21). Disciple Principle: Jesus wants us to walk in the ways of forgiveness (4.32" class="scriptRef">Eph 4:32, Col 3:13, Matt 6:12-1 4). The Father sent His son so that we could be saved and come into the fulness of life with Him (John 3:16). Remember: Christ through faith extends forgiveness to us and He will continue to provide, comfort, and show kindness to us (Acts 3:19, 2 Cor 1:3-7).
