Paul brings this epistle to a close with praise for God's holiness in wisdom. It is the wisdom of God revealed to us in the gospel. This at once reveals our own lack of wisdom apart from the saving grace of God in Christ. The reason why Paul ends this epistle in this way is to make it clear that to God alone belongs the glory.
