Go to the Place God has Prepared for You
Genesis 45:25 – 46:27

We live in a day, when, I am very sad to say, a lot of Christians have a very low view of the church.
- It is quite common to meet those who profess to trust in Christ, yet who see no need to be a member of a particular church.
- And it is the case with many churches, that being a member doesn’t mean much of anything either.
Yet, the church is essential for us today because it is the place that Christ has appointed for the gathering and perfecting of the saints,
- And because there is no ordinary possibility of salvation outside of her.
Today, as we continue our sermon series in the book of Genesis, we are going to look at a passage that is related to this.
- We are going to see how Jacob and his family submit to God in going to the place that God appointed for them for their preservation as His people.
- And we are going to see that we ought to do the same in our day.
