Man is related to the physical world by virtue of his formation from the substance of the earth. At the same time, he is related to the nonphysical world because he has special breath from God and because he was created in the image and likeness of God. Man's purpose is not to show the earthly tendencies, but to reflect the image or likeness of God to the world.
