Bill Johnson talks about the fact that God doesn’t cause hardship or difficulty, but He certainly can and will use it when we entrust our lives into His hands. As we surrender to the Lordship of Jesus, He will take every part of our life and use it for His glory and our good, that is His promise to us in Romans 8: 28. Many people think that because God uses difficulty that He must have sent it, but it is the devil who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Persecution and challenges can cause us to draw near to God as we seek His help, but He never orchestrates the difficulty. As we come to God in prayer and with thanksgiving, He uses every situation and turns it around for our benefit and His glory.
