God's goal isn't to make you your "best self."

That sounds wild. The world tells you to "do you". But Jesus actually calls us to be more like Him (Luke 6:40). John the Baptist said "He must become greater, I must become less (John 3:30).

Of course God has given each of us different gifts, strengths, and talents (Romans 12:4-5). But the way to unlock those is not by looking inward. It's by looking at Him. And the way we do that? Love.
