The Lord has declared He will sift the whole house of Israel . Micah the prophet Speaks to the heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know judgment? We know that judgment begins in the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? In Amos 9:8-10 Behold the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom , and I will destroy it form off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. 2Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also wood and of earth; and some of honor and some of dishonor.
Isaiah 30:27-30 says, Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation and his tongue as a devouring fire: And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieves of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pimple to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel. And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering and tempest, and hailstones.
