1. Pain is predictable
   a. It’s the product of the fall.
   b. Everyone suffers:
   c. Jesus promised we would all suffer for His sake (Jn 15:20)
2. Pain is preparation
   a. God forges us in affliction (Isa 48:10)
   b. On the other side we are:
       More valuable
       More Beautiful
       More Useable
3. Pain is power
   a. Once prepared, you will do things for God that no one else can do.
   b. There will be power in your work that comes from your trials.
4. Pain has purpose
   a. God does not waste pain!
   b. Just ask Joe – Genesis 50:18-20.
