Many Christians believe that the kingdom of God is something that we must bring down or establish here on earth. Jesus, however, reveals that his disciples are living in the kingdom now, and that they will experience the kingdom's culmination and full glory in the future. When that culmination comes, however, it comes with judgment on those who reject Jesus.
