In James 1:16-18, we study the goodness of God. When we go through difficult times we may be tempted to think that God does not care for us. When we are tempted to think that we must remind ourselves of God’s good gifts to us each day, the cost of salvation, and the faithfulness of God. This will correct our faulty thoughts about God and make us more thankful for God’s constant blessings in our life. Rather than taking for granted all he has done for us; we can grow to be more appreciative of his goodness towards us daily.
