Reflections:
Paul is exhorting the church and the disciples to uphold the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been truth to them, and it is still truth that will continue to touch their lives and all the people of the world. We must always keep our hope firmly rooted in the gospel truth which has been given to us by God the Father through Jesus Christ. Even to this day the gospel is still bearing fruit, both in the disciples and to all others around the world.
