Biblical Faith is not idle, it's not just some mental ascent to some biblical doctrine. That does not mean you know Christ. James 2:19 says that "the Demons believe and shudder." Demon Faith does not produce good fruit. What fruit is your faith producing? James gives us a picture of what justified Faith looks like. Abrahams faith was not just lip service.
However, good works does not just make a faith genuine. This thought is subtle, and damning.
NOT Faith + works = Justification
But Faith = Justification + Works
Our work is a work from God.
