Although Jesus didn’t explain the parables of the mustard seed and the leaven, when we consider the context of His other parables it’s clear these two point to the spiritual growth of believers and the overall growth of the church. But is all growth inherently good growth? If the growth of the church is based on anything other than the Word of God and preaching the gospel of Jesus, the church is not growing as God intends.
