This song has been therapeutic for me to write in many ways. I relate to the adulterous woman, i've felt her shame and wanted to hide. Constant feelings of not measuring up, feeling naked and ashamed before the Lord. But when the woman comes face to face with Christ- the only one truly worthy to stone her for her sins- he shows her unmeasurable mercy. He tells the crowd, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her".
.. And of course, no one could.
And Jesus, looks deep into her tear filled eyes and relinquishes all of her fear saying, "Neither do 1 condemn you" Such powerful words coming from the only one with the authority to truly do so... and yet he doesn't. "Neither do I" comes out August 4th... and I'm so excited to share it with you
