Many people in our world are hurting – physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. You may be among them today. Most people are not well-known and live or serve in the shadows. You are likely one of those. We come today to a miracle story which illustrates Jesus’ ministry to hurting people, to an unnamed recipient of his power - the healing of a leper. The story is told in Matthew, Mark, and Luke (illustrating its importance). Join me in Mark 1:40-45 as we read the story together.
