Dr. Rogers continues preaching through The Book of Genesis in this sermon on Genesis 26:12-33 entitled, "How God Moves You."

The Lord puts His children where He wants, when He wants, in order to accomplish His purposes. God may use blessing and He may use trouble, but God will always be faithful to bring you to His desired destination. “The heart of a man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).

In Genesis 26:12-33 we see the travel record of Isaac, the son of Abraham, as he went from place to place. It all started because of economic hardship, then he was run out of town because of his prosperity, followed by trouble he encountered in the valley, then ultimately he was brought to the destination God intended for him all along. From this passage of Scripture, we understand three critical truths about how God moves a person. As you are following the Lord Jesus, you should know that the same way He moved His servants in the days of Isaac is the same way He moves His people today. Understanding these principles will help you walk faithfully as you follow the Lord.

This is a sermon from Genesis 26:12-33 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
