Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching through the Book of 1 Thessalonians in this sermon from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-14 entitled, "How to Behave in the Household of Faith."

God expects His people to respect their pastors, keep the peace, and minister to their Church family.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:12-14, the Apostle Paul exhorts the Thessalonians as to how they are to behave toward their spiritual leadership and amongst each other. This portion of Scripture is the beginning of the final section in 1 Thessalonians, which is a hortatory portion consisting of a string of imperatives for the people of God to obey. In this particular section, the Apostle commands Christians to honor and love their pastors, keep the peace within the Church family, and then to patiently help the unruly to straighten up, the discouraged to cheer up, and the weak to grow up.

The following is a sermon from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-14 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
