You have an invitation to be a friend to Jesus, to call Him Lord, to serve Him, and to make your life's ambition to be pleasing to Him because you believe Jesus of Nazareth is worthy of your humble submission. There’ll be resistance, sometimes rejection. At times, being identified with Jesus will put you in uncomfortable positions. Follow Him anyway. Be His friend, and live in such a way to be pleasing before Him.
