Have you ever stopped to think about how much of your life you are actually not in control of? So much of my life and your life is not in your hands, but in the hands of our sovereign God. We want to control every single aspect of our kid’s lives, but that is living in a fantasy world. We are called to put in the effort, but we have trust God for outcome.

1. Do not trust in your parenting; trust God with your parenting.
When we are not trusting God, we…
2. Overwork.
3. Worry.
4. The fruitfulness of your family is determined by the foundation of your family.
5. Contentment and rest are a byproduct of receiving God’s love.
6. Our children are gifts from the Lord and belong to Him.
7. Our greatest blessings are works of God’s grace, not the result of our labor.
8. The purpose of the family is discipleship.
9. Biblical parenting requires obedience and intentionality.
