Every person gets humbled. And there are two paths: a path of self-humbling or the path of God humbling you. You are going to be humbled. You can humble yourself, or you can resist, and God will humble you. That is precisely what the Scripture speaks. Brethren, it's just an interesting study. Josiah was penitent and humbled himself before the Lord, and God accepted that humility before Him. That’s how James puts it: Humble yourselves before the Lord.
