This Sunday the sermon is from 1 Kings 18:1-19 – “ A Troubler in River City”. “Is it you, you troubler of Israel?” – I Kings 18:17

Do your preacher’s sermons ever trouble you? Do you ever leave church mad? Good. You probably sit under a man of God. In 2 Timothy chapter 4, verse 2, Paul clearly told Timothy to “Preach the Word!” And, when you read further, you’ll note that preaching includes reproving, rebuking and exhorting. We all need correction. We have minds bent toward sin and idolatry. Elijah confronted Ahab in the 9th Century B.C. May Elijah’s tribe increase in the 21st Century.
