How could a story so sublime end with such horror and suffering? How could the Son of God enter this world in the peaceful manger and yet exit this world by way of Gethsemane and Calvary? The Apostle Paul answers these questions, “…but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) The incarnation is a demonstration of the depths of love God has for his people.
