The first part of this is the song Holy Spirit was running through my head this morning at 3:30 am, while praying for Joshua Canales, my brother in Christ, who is getting so much breakthrough and victory in all areas of his life. (He is in the last picture, taken on the Suwannee River, in Branford, FL yesterday) Joshua’s positioning is so prophetic!
We would love your prayer of agreement for breakthrough in Joshua’s life!!
Who are you praying for breakthrough for?
I decided to show a picture of the song formation (including my messy handwriting and scratch outs) during quiet time, coffee and our iron sharpens iron texting of scriptures and prayers that David and Joshua and I do every morning.
My goal is not to “make a hit”. My goal is to please the Lord, touch His heart and press in for His words and His ways. I record to inspire you that forgetting the words, crying and laughing during a song, singing off key and missing a chord are all part of who we are.
If it has to be perfect, then you are missing the point of dependency on Yeshua! It doesn’t have to be perfect. It has to have good fruit!
Here’s the truth, psalmists and worshippers! If you treasure the little song that Holy Spirit puts in YOUR spirit at 3:30 am as much as the song He gave to someone else, that you love to sing in church or in your car, you will treasure it enough, to find a quiet place to record to your phone (just your voice) and thank Holy Spirit for the treasure of His voice, and go back to bed! Then, when you’ve had your coffee and quiet time, ask Him to water the seed of His word!! Get ready to record whatever comes out, and let it flow!! Share to inspire. Focus on changing the atmosphere, not on recording an album.
Concerning hearing His voice; It’s real! He speaks to me and millions of others! If you aren’t hearing the voice of Holy Spirit, you have every right to be jealous and ask “Holy Spirit, speak to me.” And then listen and write it down. He loves to speak to you. Give it the same attention as you do someone that is giving life saving instructions. They are!!
1 John 5:1-3 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.
This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,
1 John 5:14-15 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Lord, help us recognize the yokes and burdens that are heavy and not from You!
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God.
Yeshua, You loved me and gave Yourself for me.
1 John 5:2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.
Yeshua, we want more time in the secret place to hear your loving, non-burdensome commands to bring love to your children!
