With the completion of the New Testament in AD 89, the temporary gifts, revelatory, sign, knowledge or prophecy, tongues, knowledge are no longer necessary to confirm the authenticity of verbal inspiration, apostleship, or divine knowledge. The completed Bible is the sole authority for life and the revelation of God through Jesus Christ, God's Son.
