Blessed Pentecost Sunday to all.
The sermon for this week is entitled 'If Any Man Thirst?' and the text is taken from John 7:387-39.
I am sure all of us have felt thirsty before, longing for a glass of cold water. However there are also many people that are feeling thirsty, but this thirst cannot be quenched by water. There is a vacuum, hole, hollowness, a yearning within them that needs to be filled and they dont know how to fill it.
Sadly they tend to go to the wrong places to quench the thirst and instead of helping it just makes things worse.
People go to alcohol, drugs, nicotine, sex, jump into one marriage after another, job after job but the thirst is not quenched
Jesus is the answer to all your longings and yearnings
In John 7:37- Jesus proclaims " If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.'
What does these verse mean? What did Jesus proclaim this verses here? What does it fulfill?
In this sermon, I explained these verse using 4 points
1. Jesus Fulfills The Old Testament Expectations.
2. Nature of this Promise in John 7:37-39
3. The Blessings of This Promise.
4. The conditions or requirement for the reception of this promise.
I pray that through this sermon you will run to Jesus. Jesus is your answer. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters.
Pray you will receive your healing, your breakthrough, peace, strength, power and the quenching of your thirst.
