I learned this scripture song from my friends, Dane & Vicki Griffin, in 1997. I'm not sure who put the music to it, but it's an important passage from Daniel, and worthy of memorizing. We, in these last days, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, will be called upon to make similar decisions concerning whether or not we will be obedient to God's law or to man's when to obey one is to disobey the other. May we all have the grace to choose rightly.
If it be so,
Our God whom we serve
Is able to deliver us
From the burning fiery furnace,
And He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
But if not,
Be it known unto thee, O King,
That we will not serve thy gods,
Nor worship the golden image
Which thou hast set up.
Daniel three, seventeen and eighteen.
