The disciple Peter experienced his greatest shame while standing around a charcoal fire on one particularly dark night. But Jesus was not done with Peter. Later, Jesus would restore Peter around another charcoal fire. Like Peter, we will face failure and shameful moments. Facing our failure is never easy, but if we will allow it, God will redeem it, and us.
