Our faith is under great pressure from almost every side. We need to recognize that we are completely dependent upon God's power, or we will be overwhelmed by any spiritual struggles we are in. If we're only using physical resources, we will not succeed. Let's establish in our hearts an openness to God's power, and recognize our need for a power and authority beyond anything we can marshal. If we can establish that, it will foster within us a hunger and a willingness to grow, learn, and change that has largely been absent.
