Equity is getting a lot of play recently. It’s the idea that everyone gets an equal outcome—not an equal opportunity, which is equality. An equal outcome is equity—and both biblically and ideologically, it's a false construct. It's also not an idea that is supported by reality. We need to bring a biblical worldview to what we are witnessing happen in our culture. Scripture does not support the idea that we will all receive equal rewards and experiences in life, but we all are given the opportunity to come to the cross and receive forgiveness.
