Is God warning you not to date someone?

One possible sign that God is warning you not to date someone is if he reveals something to you that this person was actually trying to hide from you.

For example, if a friend randomly tells you a story and mentions a certain guy was there, but that guy told you he was somewhere else that night, God could be revealing this information to you to warn you about this person.

Or if a girl told you that she really likes you but then you see something on social media where she is saying the same types of things to someone else, God could be showing you these things as a way to warn you.

Proverbs 10:9 states, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”
