Are your prayers just a list of things you want, with no concern for God Himself? That’s a dead giveaway of where your heart is. You go to God, ask for something, and if He gives it to you, you walk away. "Thanks, God," you say, treating Him like Santa Claus—just there to hand out gifts. That’s the world’s idea of God. But listen, Jesus said, "If you ask anything in my name, it will be given to you, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Have you ever read that? The way we pray should align with who He is—every request should glorify God, not just serve our desires. So, can you honestly bring your prayers before Him and say, "This is in Your name, Lord"? Does it square with who He is? | From: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHFqW_jYpZ0
