Leaves may fall - Isaiah chapter 41 verses 8-10 the Message (MSG).

“But you, Israel, are my servant.
You’re Jacob, my first choice,
descendants of my good friend Abraham.
I pulled you in from all over the world,
called you in from every dark corner of the earth,
Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side.
I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’
Don’t panic. I’m with you.
There’s no need to fear for I’m your God.
I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you.
I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you."

The story is told of Buddhist monks who break into laughter when they see leaves falling in autumn (fall). I never really understood this until recently. From my kitchen window I witnessed what North Americans call "fall". A few days later I called my wife to watch as it happened again, this time in abundance. She recorded a couple of minutes on her smartphone; which you see in this upload.

I searched for a Bible verse to highlight this beautiful natural experience and decided on Isaiah 41. My thought? Leaves may fall, but YOU will not fall if you place your life firmly in the hand of GOD.

The background 'pitter-patter'(that mimics rain), is the sound of leaves falling from tall Mulberry trees and hitting the ground after a night's frost. Leaves of many other trees turn brown and fall, but as you see these Mulberry leaves are still green in late November.

P.S. the larger ginger tom kitten, "Rishco", usually frequents our neighbour, who stays in the city over the winter. She asked us to feed this friendly feline. He is not a house cat and is becoming more wild, but still accepts the stroke of a human hand. We've been buying giant fish (риба - riba) heads, baking them in the oven and giving 'our' five cats a feast (often, village stray cats gate-crash the party).

Additional info: "Mulberry, (genus Morus), genus of about 10 species of small to medium-sized trees in the family Moraceae and their sweet edible fruits. Mulberries are native to temperate Asia and North America, and several species are cultivated for their fruits and as ornamentals. Mulberry plants are also important as food for silkworms." https://www.britannica.com/plant/mulberry-plant
