In Isaiah 44:6-23 the prophet Isaiah pleaded with his people to see the futility of idol worship. Weren’t their idols simply made out of blocks of wood? While to us it’s just plain common sense when reading Isaiah 44:6-23 to see his point about idol worship it was 'common sense’ for people back then to worship them.
