His Higher Thoughts, Ways and Plans

Several years ago, my little prayers to God were for me to just go to a place where I can grow, speak English fluently and go to a mission trip. It never crossed my mind to study dentistry in the Philippines. When I decided to pursue this course, my parents don't have extra income to support me but with a leap of faith, they follow what the Lord bid them. I encountered even some opposition from people for this decision and they told me that I should just go to any higher education institution in my country so that I won't burden my parents. The experience of persecution, criticism and mockery that I won't have bright future after quitting my previous college, brought me rock bottom - so low that I really consulted God for His will whether to pursue dentistry in the Philippines or not.
Then, the day before I flew to the Philippines for the first time, God proved His faithfulness. A miracle happened! God provided the financial needs exactly for my first semester then He did it semester after semester without fail.
Fast forward to my supposed final year, our family have big financial crisis. A crucial decision needs to be made, that either me or my brother will continue to pursue college. My thought was to go back home and save money then come back to finish dentistry but His HIGHER thoughts are better than mine. He provided a scholarship through Caring Hands Worldwide and by God's grace to work with them as volunteer dentist after my studies. Surely, His thoughts, His ways and His plans are higher than mine. He answered my prayers exceeding, abundantly above all that I ever ask and think according to the power that work in us. The dark future told by some people back home is actually God's Brighter, Higher and Greater Way for my life exponentially better than I ever know for mine. Claim Isaiah 55:8-9 and Jeremiah 29:11. He will surely answer beyond what you ever pray for because He who promised is faithful! - Arieona June Ronal

ARM of Jesus - this is what we recently call ourselves which stands for (first) our name Arieona, Rachel and Meriam and (second) our calling - health ministry, specifically the dental area, which is the right hand of the gospel. We pray that we will continue to be the extension of God's A.R.M. in this dying world.
