A Prayer of the Day. “When You did awesome things which we did not expect, You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.” (Isaiah 64:3 NASB)

Lord, we bow down before your holy presence. You have shared your will with us through your servants and warned us of the danger but we often refused to listen to you. Lord, we ask your forgiveness, forgive our conceit that we know everything and that we can handle everything. Forgive our self-centeredness, judgmental attitude, worshiping idols: money, comfortable life, popularity, power, and self-right. Lord, we are just the clay of dust, you are the potter. Create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation and grant us a willing spirit, to sustain us. Lord, you are our God, we are your people. In Jesus name. Amen.
