When can we truly say that a profession of faith is genuine? How can we tell if someone is truly living for Christ, His glory, and for others? And how can we find assurance for ourselves that we are truly and genuinely saved from sin, redeemed by His blood, and destined for heaven?

The Apostle James gives us a very serious and sobering reminder about the authenticity of faith: Faith without works is dead. This means that we must always examine, consider, and evaluate ourselves and how we live.
