Scripture memory in song was taught in our Children Church. Besides teaching the children about the meaning of the verse and their application, they were taught to put these verses to memory through songs. This idea was mooted when we observed that some of the children in class were facing difficulties memorising scripture especially the slower ones. It helps the children in memorising bible verses effectively and also level-up the pace of learning amongst different children.

Singing enabled all to learn together and it is also a form of worship. We could see the fruits of such an effort as the children were able to rattle off many verses easily as familiar tunes provided a creative means to help them remember. Most importantly, God being glorified.

The singing, piano playing and recording were amateurish but the power of God made the difference. We hoped you will find it useful in your own ministry and we appreciate your constructive feedback to make it better. God Be Praised.
